Removal / Deportation Defense
For those found to be in the United States without valid legal status, the government makes every effort to have them deported, and this is usually done in what is known as “removal proceedings.” These are proceedings where the government makes the case why a person they believe is in the United States illegally should be deported. That person will then have an opportunity to make their case why they should not be deported.
